Social Bird, the vibrant and contemporary addition to Newcastle's hospitality landscape, spread its wings last night in a grand launch event on Fenkle Street. The night was ablaze with live music, magical performances, and the unveiling of the restaurant's unique charm.

As the doors opened at 6pm, guests flocked from all corners of the North East to enjoy Social Bird’s eclectic ambience, mouth-watering food and amazing drinks. Singers Annabel Pattinson Hurrell and Finn Foster set the stage on fire with their captivating performances, giving a taste of the vibrant live music nights to come, with DJ Suzee x Music taking over to keep the party alive well into the evening.

Renowned caricaturist Paul Slattery brought laughter to the crowd as he sketched guests' faces onto Social Bird Chicken bodies, creating unforgettable party souvenirs. Meanwhile, the acclaimed magician Chriss Cross, known for his performances at prestigious events [Boy George's 50th birthday, Alan Shearer's private party and Sam Fender's after-show party], dazzled guests with mind-bending tricks, adding an extra layer of magic to the evening.

Throughout the evening, signature cocktails flowed, tantalising taste buds with their bold flavours. Guests also savoured tasters from the menu, offering a preview of the culinary delights that await them at Social Bird. Guests revelled in the lively atmosphere, falling in love with Social Bird's unique charm and vibrant hospitality.

Emma Thompson, General Manager, expressed her joy at the launch's overwhelming success, saying, "We are thrilled with the fantastic turnout and the incredible energy last night at our launch event. Social Bird is more than just a restaurant; it's a place where memories are made, and people come together to socialise.
